Shipping policy

Home In the Woods Scents, LLC accepts orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We ship orders on Monday- Wednesday, excluding Holidays.

Orders are processed in the order that they are received. Packages are sent via USPS Priority Mail from Itta Bena, MS. USPS Priority transit times vary per state. During the busy fall/holiday season, USPS may experience delays that are out of our control.

If your order qualifies free shipping, it will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail.

Orders are usually processed within 2-3 business days from the time the order is placed. 

The order ship date does not count as a day in transit. USPS transit times are not a reflection of our production and processing time. 

Shipping Rates & Transit Times

USPS Shipping Rates are based on your shipping address and the weight of you order. USPS Priority transit times vary per state but typically deliver within 2-3 business days. 

For APO and FPO addresses, please expect a delay. The mail is delivered through a joint effort between USPS and Military Postal Services that requires packages to go through customs. Transit times depends on the operational conditions and the unit of the addressee. 

Wrong Address

If you provided a wrong address, you can attempt to submit a request to intercept a package via USPS.

You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with re-sending the package if it's marked by USPS as not deliverable or return to sender.

 

Shipping During the Summer

We only will ship items on Monday- Wednesday to ensure that your package is not sitting over the weekend and risk melting or damage due to the heat. 

The product will also be sealed in a thermal mailer with an ice/cool pack. This is to ensure that your product is in good condition while in transit during the hot months.
